        Same here. I got JB to price match the Panasonic TV against Bing Lee's ebay10 (10% off) deal for $1523.10 with free delivery back in early Oct. It took a lot of effort by the staff member to get that price as the store manager said it was too cheap but the staff member rang head office and eventually got authorisation.
        Talk about cognitive dissonance though, so I went in today and asked for a refund of the difference. Not expecting anything but you never know. I stated that I could just buy the TV now and return it with the other receipt if they couldn't help. Well to the managers credit they refunded the difference.

        I'm surprised and impressed with the level of support from the store staff. As for the TV I'm very happy with the performance. The active 3D works perfectly and even for gaming the TV performs great. I've watched a 4K clip to test it out and I couldn't fault it and I haven't had any problems with the upscaling either.
        I like the PVR function and USB support but the media player file display is pretty basic and the web interface (using Firefox) is ordinary but still does the job.

        At this price and quality of the model, this is a realy good purchase.

          @TRENT86: Sorry, the Panasonic one was the CS650 40" Smart TV at $549. Didn't end up getting it after seeing the crazy bargains that others got in the sale, and was hoping for a bigger TV. One salesperson said that the fate of DS depends on their sales for this week. It seems they are being pushed to either make a lot of sales, or risk losing their job. That's why I think they'd happily price beat other stores.
