        • I was trying to be nice, but you respond with that horrible music / video?

You know, maybe the stuff against you is sometimes justified.

Where's the "Home Alone" Christmas mix? My fav.

Even if you're a loner, just enjoy this with your ozbargin cheap wine and free horse calender (if you signed up for it) personally I dont mind bing crosby. And the question remains where is the Aussie jungle bells, you know, dashing through the bush in a rusty holden ute

Thank you for posting … but the best Christmas album, for us anyways, has been The Seekers "Morningtown Ride To Christmas."

We have it on CD, but cannot seem to find it on any other platform. Would love to to add it to our collection on the iPad as our CD player's days are numbered. The CD has the following information on the case c & p 2001 Jukebrats Productions. Manufactured in Australia by Sony Music Entertainment (Aust) Limited, numbers on the case 5047942000.

It was recorded in May and June 2001 and this album gets a jolly good airing every Christmas since. My son even took it to Primary School that year, for his teacher to play for the class. Teacher said she had never known the children so relaxed!

Has all the traditional and folksy songs including "There are no lights On Our Christmas Tree." If you have the chance to hear this album I am sure most would agree it rates amongst the best.

    Cheers! ☆

"Would love to to add it to our collection on the iPad"

What's stopping you from ripping the CD from a computer?

      • I actually didn't know you could do that. But, then again … the old laptop we use may fade away before the CD player does … seriously. Did not have any "luck" with Harvey Norman yesterday either.

iTunes will copy the cd to MP3's and you can then sync that with the iPad.

          See https://support.apple.com/kb/ph20501?locale=en_US

Other apps will do it too, but given you want to copy to an iPad iTunes will do the job fine and work when you do the sync.

Yeah, just insert the CD, iTunes should open and import it at the highest bitrate. You don't need to rebuy the digital version if you have the physical CD.

You don't need to rebuy the digital version if you have the physical CD.

Depends on which country you're doing it in… In the US, it's illegal… In Australia, it's legal if it's only for your own use.

Let's be honest even if it is illegal in oz no one is gonna catch you for that.

        • I'd be happy to buy it again; it's become our own kind of tradition now. Not sure if the laptop would be up to it (hopefully son will buy a new one soon with his 21st money) but I shall definitely retain this information.

Thank you Smigit and Sparkles (Santa's new reindeers?).

@JediJan: you're welcome and good luck! If you have issues no doubt one of your kids friends will know all about it and be able to assist.

        • @JediJan:

Not sure if the laptop would be up to it

Your laptop can't read a CD???

        • @Agret: Yes, seriously. To clarify: This old HP Presario laptop really is too old (had 8-9 years of hard labour), has suffered at the hands of many, and also has too much software loaded onto it. Have had several warnings about lack of memory space. We have been removing as many files as possible onto a WD "MyPassport" drive with some success; memory problems still. It has been repaired a couple of times … fan, keyboard (twice), etc. and been overhauled but I think it is in serious need of replacement. Son needs a bit of a push to have it replaced. Have not upgraded it from Windows 7 as yet as concerned Windows 10 may take even more precious memory. Not sure if all the software will run on Windows 10 either … but hoping so. I have not tried the DVD/CD tray for some time … yes, I am not sure if it would up to it!

That sounds like a great CD. I love the Seekers. So I've ordered myself a copy from MightyApe.
      Cheers.

And thanks OP for this deal. I've grabbed that also.
