Great game. A must have for anyone who loves point-and-clicks and a good story.

How to get the key

  1. Fill the form and subscribe to Gamerocket's newsletter. (Note: the form closes immediately after submit.)
  2. Check your emails for the Gamesrocket Redeem-Code (It's not a Steam key yet… be patient!)
  3. Redeem the Gamesrocket code on Gamesrocket Store. Obviously, if you do not have an account yet, you must create one first.
  4. After completing the "payment" process (you should not have to insert any payment as the voucher covers the amount), check your gamesrocket account where you will find the Steam key. (Mein Konto, Meine Spiele) Key will arrive after 10 minutes or so provided the order (Bestellung) has been completed and is not pending (offen).
  5. Redeem the Steam key.

Enjoy.

NOTE: E-mail will take a while to be received. The system is VERY SLOW so be patient.

I know it takes a couple of minutes time and more steps than Indiegala freebies but the game is well worth it if you do not have it already.

IMPORTANT: The Gamesrocket code must be redeemed by 17 December 2015. Put Deponia in your cart, redeem the code, and check out.

          @Lysander: One is redeemed to my Steam account. Selling keys is strictly prohibited, so the remaining three are sitting there amongst ~24 paginations of duplicate keys for whenever friends want them =)

          I wasn't implying for you to sell them. Was just wondering if you would be willing to trade some keys if you have some many duplicates. We (mainly from bundles the kids bought with their pocket money) have some spares which we would like to trade. Some of the games are just not age appropriate (R18) and I am not interested in them either. Somebody else might be and have fun with them. Other are duplicates. Due to the kids we also must have more than one Steam account which makes buying games a bit more difficult due to different ages and access, hence the duplicates.

          If you are interested, maybe send me a list or screenshots of your duplicates (via PM). Very happy to trade as that way keys are not just sitting there but the games are actually played by people who enjoy them.

      It can take a while.

      The site is a bit crap I admit but there is nothing I can do about it.

    Everybody also keep in mind that people are sleeping where the site is based, maybe that is why it is slow.
    Should be better after 7pm when they wake up over there.

    need to enable access by using the Bestätigungs-E-Mail senden button (Send confirmation email) under Zugriff aktivieren (request activation) heading

      Then you redeem it when you "buy" Deponia. And then you wait for your Steam key to appear in your account.

    Filled in that form 24 hours ago. Got some kind of activation e-mail for the newsletter. Still haven't gotten any e-mail with a voucher in it. How the heck are you supposed to get it?

      Activate the newsletter.

      Then you will eventually get a code.

      Put deponia in cart, use code, amount should come to 0. Go through payment process.
      Then wait about 15 minutes (when Germany is awake) and then go to Mein Konto, Meine Spiele and click Steam key. That is the key you can use to redeem on Steam.

      Or you buy the whole Trilogy for $4 US on Bundlestars.

      The process does work. I got a key and so have others here. It definitely works and is real. Just a bit more steps than usual.
