    I know it's a copy and paste but there's nothing in those Terms and Conditions referencing anything about Optus.

    The site listed only 11 mobile, but not all would be Optus, so maybe use that as a guide to the type of "device" available.

    Called local BigW and they have LG Leon for 149$. So tomorrow it will be 75$, not a bargain.

    For anyone interested, I called Big W Southland (Cheltenham, VIC) and the guy I spoke with said they had the following mobiles available, with the prices of the two I asked about.

    Samsung Young 2
    Huawei Y635 ($119 down to ~$60)
    LG Leon
    ZTE Fit Smart
    HTC Desire 520 ($200 down to $100)

    There was nothing that interested me to be honest, but they might suit someone else.

      ZTE fit smart is $50 at half price.

      I picked up Huawei y635 for $60. Decided on that over the LG Leon at $65.

          Saw the telstra 4gx buzz special with free monster headphones. That one looks to be a bargain too.
