The Fate of The Christmas Card

I just looked into my Christmas card box & realised quickly that I have enough Christmas cards to last me 3 lifetimes. This has come from buying them in packs quite cheaply over the years when the stores flogged them off post Christmas. I used to be the type to send between 10 & 20 Christmas cards to family & friends when stamps were 40 cents. The number of cards I received back started to dwindle over the years.

Because of this over the past couple of years though my rule now is to only send cards to people that bother sending them to me.

My best bargain in this regard was 50 cards for $1 a couple of years ago.

I was wondering what everyone does in regards to Christmas cards & will eventually Christmas cards be extinct?

dont think about getting a return card, send them to as many people as you can think of. thats what we do.
remember its about giving not receiving.
