And when did they last sell them for AU$82.89 ???

Why don't you tell us JV as you're clearly the expert. Sheesh talk about pointless post when you have no idea what these torches sell for and try and make out that this isn't a great deal.

Thanks to the poster for this great deal, I'll pick one up to match my two S10R's I purchased last time they were reduced. These are great torches, really well built and the charger is very handy especially if you don't have the facilities to charge 18650/14500 and similar lithium batteries.

        Why don't you tell us

I'm not the one making the claim… They're probably been around this price range for a while. Unless you can show there is a real saving, it's hardly a bargain.

and make out that this isn't a great deal.

I'm not making a call either way, but the OP hasn't shown why this is a bargain…

        These are great torches

Since you're the expert on these, how much does this store normally sell them for ?

        • I'm not the one making the claim…

Actually you're the one claiming that this isn't a bargain so it's up to you to prove it.

They're probably been around this price range for a while. Unless you can show there is a real saving, it's hardly a bargain.

Just because you don't think it's a bargain doesn't mean anything. This IS a bargain, the poster has given a link to a competitor showing their price and if you cannot accept that this is YOUR problem.

I'm not making a call either way, but the OP hasn't shown why this is a bargain…

          Yes he has.

That's not what I said in my post… Read it again.

          Nope…

Nobody cares what you have to say. You have provided nothing to back up your claim that this is not a bargain and have no idea what you are talking about.

They why do you keep reading my comments and replying to them ?

You have provided nothing to back up your claim that this is not a bargain

It's up to the OP to show why this is a bargain… Read the posting rules.

Baton eh? They don't seem rugged or baton-ny enough to be used as a nightstick.

  • Nice one!

  • How long for delivery?

    • maybe XMAS 2016

    • website says dispatched in 6-9 days, with delivery taking 5-25days

I wouldn't expect it for X'mas .. for most of these type of sellers I usually order it and just accept it can take anywhere up to 8weeks. In my experience it's usually 4-6wks roughly. Not sure if it's going to be longer considering the busy X'mas period.

  • Does it take normal batteries? Is it better than l7 lenser?

    • +1

Not sure about the comparison to the lenser.

This model doesn't seem to take normal batteries.

There is a model which doesn't have the rechargable base, but takes normal batteries as well for A$31.73 as well:

Yes you can use normal AA batteries, but not on the usb charger, they will be a lot less bright though, being only 1.5v vs 3.7v

"Powering the S15R is a lithium-ion 750mAh 14500 rechargeable battery, which is included. A back up Alkaline and NiMh AA battery can also be used, making the S15R very versatile"

  • I have the Olight S30R, its great, very bright and the dock is very handy. Nice to be able to put your hands on a fully charged torch whenever needed. To be extra bright it uses the 14500 battery (3.7v lithium, one battery)

  • Is this charger safe not going to explode the batteries.

    • It uses a protected battery which is supplied with it.

  • Gearbest has it had it at the same price last 3 months some one else posted that deal here!

Its bigger then the s10r but no where near as bright!

You can use any AA batteries in this light but not then you can't charge it on the base and will loose output by about half!

Its better then the led lenser p7 but it doesn't have the variable is zoom function

  • Comes down to about $24 delivered if you are eligible for the Giving Assistant refer-a-friend sign up bonus ($5 USD = approx $6.8 AUD) and 3% cashback through Giving Assistant ($0.95). I haven't tested it, so not sure how well Banggood cashback tracks, and you can't withdraw the $5 USD without earning cashback.

  • I have not received mine yet!!!! I will never ever buy from them anymore…

    • Mine finally arrived yesterday. They take forever but it should turn up.

      • Have you tried it? Good? What's your view?

  • Thanks ElusiveA. Good to know.
