    They forget this line:
"Please be advised that prices in general will be increased by 20% before the offer starts"

I received a $10 discount coupon, thought GREAT! I'll buy that item I had been looking at (VitaBlast Blender) only to find the price rise of $14! Total B.S!!

        welcome to the Kogan Way

        • Well, that can apply to a lot of businesses. Especially around Christmas time. Still as they said "The right price is the one you agree to pay", and on top of that you can have a $50 voucher…

I've been saying post after post Kogan are dodgy. Cheap is good but not Kogan cheap !

Spend your money wisely and go with another online retailer.

  • Ah that sucks, I bought a Samsung Gear VR there for $170 yesterday!

    • I was looking to get one too but it comes down to a similar price when bought from B&H photo.

      • True but you will be waiting a while. The Samsung website updated today with a price but also says they are sold out despite only having been up a couple hours I would imagine. This deal with the Kogan now would be better.

  • So, there's nothing to do but buy, nice heads up.

fyi, see a screenshot of yesterday price of garden tools, it is interest to see how much they bump before such a "promotion"

Well this aint even a deal with price increase being over $50,,

    • +2

      Wow, dodgy as!

I'd be asking Kogan for a please explain on this! Surely that's illegal!

    • Price Jacking - Good to know - Thanks tigerrr

I agree, got that email as well. Those products with the price increased were part of a promotion, so they were heavily discounted.
Most of the products in those 2 screenshots keeps the same price, so I don't feel like blaming Kogan for this…

        • Wow member for 26 mins and so passionate. Located in Melbourne. I smell a rat

        • @lovebargainsyeah: Is that you Ruslan?

Only an insider can pull numbers like that.

  • Wow. That's a huge increase.

Does anybody know if they did the same with TV's?

Was hoping to buy an Agora 49" Smart TV. Looks like it might be worth holding out until this bullshit "deal" expires.

And the "credit" expires by 25 december. What a joke!

Shame to see how bad Kogan has become..

Just checked, prices have indeed increased to the value of the voucher offered! What a scam.

  • What a blight this company has become although some might say always been.

  • Yeah, I had very similar experience, bought a headphone on the eBay 20%"sale" then the head phone got cheaper after the "sale"…… All though it's not a lot money, but feel so stupid for buying it.

I also bought a laser range finder with the order that didn't work from the start.
The good thing is they did honour their money back guarantee. A bit of hassle but I don't blame them.

Kogan really need to change the way they treat people, consumers won't fall for your tricks forever, and you will not a repeat business from dissatisfied customers.

Good luck to you <lovebargainsyeah> , please tell your boss about how people feel in this forum.
