eBay - $100 Credit for Purchasing $200 through Click and Collect

Hey guys,

I used my 100$ credit at the end of november on a couple of items on ebay. One of the items (BigW) has been refunded as they dont have any more stock. What happens to the credit? I dont lose it do i?

eBay Click & Collect at Woolworths/Big W, Spend $100 Get $50 Voucher /Spend $200 Get $100 Voucher (Excludes SA/WA)

  Unfortunately you actually lose the credit.

  Also see point 20 on the terms:

  In the event you return or seek a refund on any item purchased using a voucher, the value of the voucher will not be refunded to you.

    But I didnt seek a return or a refund. The seller did that to me.

      Yeah basically you just have to interpret that as if there is a refund involved, you won't get the value of the voucher back.

      Happened to me with an item that a seller never sent (then later refunded) with this deal.

  You won't get the voucher discount value back. I was refunded by the seller in one transaction also but the money was paid to ebay in turn.

  I would complain to Big W and explain the implications of their poor stock management. Ask them to cover your loss with a gift card. May be worth a try.

  Call ebay themselves and ask. I had a faulty item delivered to me that was bought with $50 credit. Due to the seller stuffing me around, i complained to ebay. I then was told as my item was $55, the whole amount would just be refunded by Paypal, as $5 of it was from Paypal. Give it a try.. i found the ebay hotline to be quite helpful.

  Call Big W and say you want compensation.

  I don't believe that item that you bought with a bonus voucher just happened to be out of stock… I don't think so. I smell BS.

  Not quite the same, but Big W lost my cnc order, by the time the refund came back I had already used the $100 voucher, no mention of it so far from ebay …

  yes you do however contact ebay, they are pretty understanding (happened to me)

  This happened to me 2 months ago, when seller out of stock.
  I contacted ebay and they give me new voucher into my account.

  What happens when you've used up your voucher but one of the items you purchased to earn the voucher later got cancelled?
