        You state that the cushion cover is a freebie, the cloth is not worth $5, the shipping is free, leaving just the bottle.
        Stating "valued at" is like chemist warehouse's "don't pay" or RRP.
        Adding on freebies to increase the "valued at" can be seen through.

          How does shipping value work? It can cost a customer anything between $8.32 and $25 to post (rural WA). I made that free.

          I tend to agree. Your numbers contradict themselves. Ship is valued at $69.95 + $20 cushion + $5 cloth. That's less than $100. Yes you'll basically get free shipping if you sign up to the newsletter, BUT that is a $10 saving (you can't really say it's valued at anything, because there is no value for an individual in a service once it's used - i.e. nothing to keep).

          I am curious about this though… how to you clean the insides of this thing? I'd assume sediment, etc would end up drying up on the ship on the inside if its not used in a reasonably quick time…

          Perhaps keeping the post to the bottle with free shipping and calling the cover and cloth as bonus freebies (without drawing attention to their value) is a better way of promoting this deal.
          OzB'ers don't like having RRP or 'valued at' comparisons thrown at them.

          @sqeeksqeek: Shipping has value to everyone who wants the bottle (provided no pickup) a cushion doesn't. Just because something is intangible doesn't mean it has no value.

    It looks good.. but is there a chance that the glass inside snaps off or whatever and you dont see it.. you end up drinking glass?

    Got one of these and my Laphroaig whiskey looks awesome in it. Wife doesn't mind it being left out as it looks nice and goes with furniture etc. That's a bonus for me. Wish I had seen this deal

    Am i the only one wondering how alcohol i.e. whisky is going yo interact with said boat im bottle. can the glue, colours. Material etc withstand alcohol over such long times. I'm biased to think not?
