    Seconded. Noisy with many stops. Can't sleep much… And i'm usually able to sleep on trains.

    But it is a decent option for students or when you need to transport stuff

  Last time I took the XPT there were many unruly undesirables and drunken indigenous passengers loitering between the carriages. Not recommended.
