Singapore Airlines Return: Seoul Ex PER $617, MEL $643, SYD $696, ADL $702, BNE $705 & More via SIN @ Beat That Flight

The deal

Seoul, South Korea is now available on Singapore Airlines - in some cases for even less than last time I posted this deal!

Along with their recent deals to:

Seoul is now the feature sale!

Flights go via Singapore.

NOTE: Some have suggested some legs are Scoot. If you don't use the filters, there's a chance that happens, but my searches have all been using the filters to choose SQ only, and then even check each flight to make sure no Scoot legs have snuck in. All prices were correct at the time of posting for Singapore Airlines - not Singapore + Scoot or any other combination.

Summary:
Adelaide - Seoul (20 Jan 26 - 25 Mar 26) from $702 return
Brisbane - Seoul (14 Jan 26 - 18 Mar 26) from $705 return
Cairns - Seoul (21 Jan 26 - 7 Mar 26) from $737 return
Darwin - Seoul (12 Jan 26 - 30 Apr 26) from $745 return
Melbourne (Tullamarine) - Seoul (25 Jan 26 - 10 Mar 26) from $643 return
Perth - Seoul (20 Jan 26 - 23 Mar 26) from $617 return
Sydney - Seoul (25 Jan 26 - 15 Mar 26) from $696 return

Same, was the reason i didnt have issues doing 20,000 to 50,000 steps a day in Japan

As always these prices are unobtainable, these posts should include firm dates that will clearly show the prices. For example 21st Oct-xxth Oct at $7xx etc.

    • +2

I'm curious as to what you mean by that? It certainly looks like some dates have been posted in the comment below the title.

Though some of those flights are horrid stopovers (22hrs in SG is pretty rough, though could be worse).

      • Why not make it a layover then?

        • True! But I'd imagine the average person who makes use of these deals often enough would have to be getting pretty bored of Singapore by now.

Also isn't it usually the case that it costs more breaking it up into two flights than dealing with the layover (and thus, one ticket)?

        • I’ve been through Singapore numerous times and occasionally get posted there to work for a few months.

I’d rather be on my original destination than a layover on a country I’ve seen enough times already.

Also accommodation is relatively expensive compared to its neighbours.

How cold is Korea in March

    • +2

We were there end of Feb / start march and had Snow in Seoul earlier this year

    • +1

It's pretty cold. Seoul as a rule of thumb is ~5°C colder year round than you would expect from a typical Mediterranean climate. Shoulder months to Winter (November and March) can still be bitterly cold with sub-zero temperatures and snow. I've been there in those months and did not have a good time… but I'm a big baby and hate the cold.

  • Hey @beatthatflight, do you do any posts about deals using points for these routes? I love seeing these posts with cheap $ flights, but I do also have a lot of points racked up I want to try and use :)

How come these prices never show for me

    • Because you are Mr Billions and they want you to fly first class

  • Just curious if I need to put a discount code anywhere or the price adjusted at the check out?. I do not seem to get the deal listed for example this one.
Cairns – Bangkok on Singapore Airlines return/$678 27 Oct to 20 Nov or this price ticket has sold out?

    Thank you

One of the worst thing I have seen on Singapore Airlines is that they show you cheap flights but when you check details then one leg of your travel will be through scoot.

So basically even if you chose Singapore Airlines as your preferred airline on any search platform then still the results will include scoot…which is low cost cheap airline with worst facilities on board like no entertainment.

In my recent flight booking which requires halt at Singapore before completing journey the airline on Singapore Airlines website shows results include scoot same for sky scanner and all other search website.

So if you really wanted Singapore Airlines then you have to double check because the results shows Singapore Airlines with in the bracket they says operated by scoot.

    I end-up booking Qantas !

QANTAS does the same thing with Jetstar. I guess all full-service airlines with an LCC baby will. If they don’t have capacity on the big plane they’ll offer the little one just to try and get you the routing.

Just use google flights and filter out the LCC for real pricing then hit the airlines website once you’ve found what you want.

      • There is vast difference in what you say and what actually happened.

They have flights available on Singapore but sneakily they use return flight with scoot but if you wanted Singapore for return then pay higher amount so basically kills the discount !!

So it's misleading advertising by Singapore Airlines.

What was the flight number? I don’t think SQ is in the habit of bait-and-switching people. They’d tell you if you were going to be on a Scoot plane, precisely because it’s a lesser experience. It makes sense you’d have to pay more for SQ on the same leg.

@zfind: For more then 17 years I have been flying using Singapore Airlines and always book tickets directly through their website or app.

In past search results only comes out as Singapore Airlines operated flights but now the result includes scoot operated flights even though I am Singapore Airlines website and app.

The results comes with multiple options and mostly going out results comes with Singapore operated flights but on return flight comes with scoot operated as cheapest but if you wanted Singapore Airlines operated flights then you have to pay extra so basically kill off the deal.

Another dodgy thing SA did is reduced baggage to 25kg while Qantas still gives 30kg on standard flights.

            • +1

@SydBoy: I understand where you're coming from but this is standard practice for airlines with a LCC subsidiary. QANTAS does it with Jetstar, for example. You just have to be aware of what you're being offered before booking. I can't comment on Singapore Airline's web experience but QANTAS doesn't make an attempt to hide that you'll be on a Jetstar flight. In fact, they highlight this when booking reward seats that end with a Jetstar leg.

            • @SydBoy: Agree have to check whether it's Scoot. Also check SQ fare class, since checked baggage allowance can vary eg
SQ Economy (except U.S./Canada): Lite & Value fares 25kg or Standard & Flexi Fares 30kg
SQ Economy to/from U.S./Canada: 2 pieces up to 23kg each

    • That's true. I went to Europe via Singapore on Scoot for the first leg as a Singapore Airlines package. I was lucky they upgraded me to a hot meal and a blanket. But that's all you get.

  • Those price are for Singapore Airlines' sub Scoot.

  • This is no longer available right? I checked all the dates on singapore airlines, just missed it so I hope they have another sale soon :')
