Wonton 10 pieces, with chicken stock soup, table 3 please!

        • Won ton, but only 10 pieces. Man those are big pieces.

    • My pendo 8 windows 8.1 was upgraded to Win10 via windows update. So I guess it should be upgradable too unless someone can confirm otherwise.

      • Your one is Baytrail. This is CLovertrail.

        • This makes it no deal imo.

    • +1

      Don't think so.

There are issues with CLover trails intergrated graphics drivers.

      http://betanews.com/2015/08/19/intel-to-touch-first-early-ad…

So make sure you buy one with a baytrail (z3000 series) CPUs instead of Clover trail (z2000 series) CPU.

Yes, currently replying to you on a W3-810 that's been upgraded to Windows 10. However, after upgrading to Windows 10, I've been having rather frequent incidences of the screen not responding to my touch, so you might want to stick to Windows 8.1. It's more suited for tablets anyway.

  • The w3 looks good for web surfing. Thank you OP good buy.

  • Everyone updated pricing to include 3.6% cashrewards too!
I reckon this would be a better buy than the pendo I have. I hate the pendo screen as its not very sensitive to touches.
Good as a mini htpc for watching movies on Kodi! That's what my pendo is there for! It's good for 1080p movies.

  • Seems a good deal!!! Does it come in the original package?
EDIT: NO,it doesn't I should have read the description! :)

  • No Office 365 with this either, unlike when DS were selling 2 for $179

  • The review aren't that great by cnet. Sluggy and requires reboot to fix the issue.

  • There are lots and lots of Acer W3 that can't be turned on without plugging in (Just google it). I own one of these rubbish. Screen is really crap. Price is cheap for a reason, because the quality is extremely LOW.

And don't trust those fix by firmware upgrade, etc…. It never works and is a strategy from Acer to delay people sending back the products.

Do not buy small Acer Windows tablet. You will regret from day 1. Be warned.

    • Thanks for letting me know.

I have put a cancelation request with my order. Hope they cancel in time

      • If what you're after is basically a netbook/mini-pc without the keyboard… that's what this is. Considering the price, the screen really isn't THAT bad. I'd say the tablet's good for some light web surfing, skype, reading books, word processing etc. Video streaming is okay but not too great because the Wi-Fi card is weak - something I missed when I was looking at the specs before I bought mine. Additionally, if it's refurbished, the problems should have been fixed, otherwise, there's always the warranty to fall back on.
