80

Looking for a Christmas gift for the cyclist in your life? We've reduced the price on the RichardSolo FreeWheelin Audio System for Helmets to a crazy $40 delivered.

The safest way to listen to music whilst riding (or skiing, or horse-riding, or any activity where you wear a helmet) the RichardSolo FreeWheelin Audio System for Helmets is a bluetooth speaker system that sits discretely above your ears - it pumps the tunes from your phone/ipod via bluetooth. Best of all your ears are not covered so you can still hear others around you - much safer than earbuds.

Only $40 delivered within Australia. These were $154 when we first stocked them!

    Sounds quite unsafe

  • My beef with these is what happens after you've had a fall or accident and it's cracked? You'll have to throw the whole thing out. Would be far better if these were modular to fit with 'most' common helmet designs.
Sure beats those idiots who drive with earbuds in and windows up…!

      Meh . It's $40 , Thats what I'd call a disposable helmet . $200 helmets crack when you fall off .

      • Agree. Been trying a few diff ones & they all in ear. See how these go.

It is isnt it? Its not an actual helmet just speakers and bluetooth unit stuck to your own helmet? If you crash and get a new helmet get some more double sided tape?

      • Guess that's what I get for speed reading… :/ Thanks.

    • Think there's a misunderstanding here… "Super easy to install and secure on your helmet with patented Dual Lock™ adhesive strips (strong while allowing for easy removal at any time)" It can be removed and put onto a different helmet..

      • Guess that's what I get for speedreading. :/ Thanks.

  • Looks like Donald Trump hair…

  • What's the general consensus for this??

I'm thinking for on the hard hat at work like one of the pics?

      Here's some Amazon reviews.

I think if you're in a situation that requires a hard hat, you probably shouldn't be inhibiting your hearing ability.

      • the obvious exception being "pinchme.com.au Tuesdays" of course !!

sounds great (and safer than ear buds)

I'm just worried about how much it means others can hear your tracks, as I'd hate to have others at the construction site hear that I'm listening to the latest Taylor Swift album

  • Looks like they are sold out - website shows them as being unavailable

  • +1

Sorry folks, yes we have now sold out of these. I'll see if there's something else we can offer tomorrow!

  • Both of the units that I bought are not holding there charge. Both work fine with power plugged in but will not hold charge at all. This seems to be a documented fault with quite a few reviews on Amazon too.
