  • Thanks, was waiting for a laptop bag :)

  • Thanks mate, got the bag and a power board

  • Any review for Belkin 4 Outlet Powerboard with 2 USB Ports 2.4A ? need to buy ?

    • It's a powerboard… What's there to review?

      • No stocks in Sydney

Everyone have a check to see if their ebay site has stock of the item you want as you get an extra 15% off, just make sure it's the same price :)

Thanks OP, just successfully price match the "Belkin 4 Outlet Powerboard with 2 USB Ports 2.4A" in OW for $14.25
http://www.dicksmith.com.au/adaptors-power/belkin-4-outlet-w… (Use desktop site, pick and collect available).

    • Ow told me its out of stock at all the Dick Smith in Sydney so i csnt do price match :(
Where did you do price match?

      • I tried to price match at Bunnings for the 1 outlet with 2 usb ports. Both they and Dick Smith were useless.

When Bunnings called Dick Smith, DS said they didn't stock it in store and price was $70. Obviously DS had no idea what they were talking about.

I told Bunnings the model numbers match up on both DS and Bunnings website, and other stores have stock. DS site says in store only offer, but Bunnings won't match it because the store they rang said they don't stock it and it's $70.

Really not hard matching up model numbers and confirming price via a website. I'm not sure the bunnings rep actually did this

      • I Just show them the desktop website this morning, they check and said OK within 2 minutes. In OW North Rydr.

still show Click & Collect are available in desktop website, some area in Sydney should still have stock in store if they want check stock in DS.

        • None in Sydney

  • Anyone know if the Philips Universal Remote is any good?

  • I <3 you OzB.

Many of these will do nicely for xmas presents.

    • If actually in stock

  • Any idea if this is good?

  • Thanks OP, I got a few things because of your post.

I did take too long in snapping up the Jackson Remote PB, too busy looking at cheap travel accs, doh.

And yes, the site was slow, dont know why the poster who said so got neg'd.

  • Thanks OP, I got Phillips 6 outlets $20 (normally $70) @ dicksmith Central plaza sydney. It's the one in QVB underground.
There are some other power board at discounted prices too as you can see in the picture but you have to price check them as the staff wouldn't bother to change the normal price.

Don't bother with Dick Smith, ordered plenty of stuff online, paid but no stock. Unless you pick it up in-store, it's not a deal.

    • Happened to me also. Paid online and being told every stock is already allocated when I'm there to pick up

    • From my experience everything ordered online is being shipped by the closest store that has stock. Obviously if that store runs out of stock…

  • Picked up a Targus Geo bag from the Greensborough store. They had like 3 left excluding mine if people were still looking for one (website is a lie). Thanks OP

Third was the lucky one. Order rdy to pick up. Thanks OP

    • It wasnt, missing some items even when it said it was ready to pick up. "Some customer took it" yeah right

      • Talk o FB Dick smith about the item and they should be able to help you get it

  • Ordered a while back and paid for my order and just received a call to say that I will receive a refund within 4 days. Not impressed that their stock levels are incorrectly displayed, waste of my time and the person that had to call me.

    • Yep, just got the same. ebay order, to click and collect from a store which supposedly has stock and they just called to say they will be cancelling the order.

Picked up a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for iPad reduced from $100 down to $2. Kicking myself for not using my DS seniors card for an extra 5% off. Used it though to pick up some Philips LED bulbs at $3 each next day.

Also noticed some Panasonic wifi dongles at $1.50 reduced from $50 but couldn't think of a use for them.

    • "$100 down to $2. Kicking myself for not using my DS seniors card for an extra 5% off."

      hahahahahahahahahaha, 10 cents, gone :-D
