Offers Expired before I Receive Them

I receive OzBargain emails daily , early in the morning NSW.

Frequently the offers were for the preceding day and now expired. What do I have to do?

use this page. check it regularly, can be filtered.

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/live

  • You can subscribe to receive notification whenever a deal reaches Front Pages.

If you're after a particular item or deal, try subscribing to Stores or search alert. eg. "Buro"

  • I found the newsletter more useful set to be delivered at midday or evening, then you get that day's deals rather than the previous day's.

    • Checked my "Account" and it seems there are two options:

Send at most one notification between my viewings of the thread
Send as many notifications as there are updates.

Is this what you mean? At present I have the first selected.

No, I've got it now, I was under Threads, not Newsletter. So, If I check for example Midday, will the newsletter arrive midday the day before it is now?

If you get the newsletter delivered in the morning, it will be full mostly of the previous day's deals (as not many deals are posted early in the morning).

If you have it delivered at midday, you'll get it full of the deals that were posted that morning.

      • I thought you were meaning the OzBargain newsletter (found under Subscriptions > Newsletter).

Professionals check the site every 15 mins.

There is a twitter feed that is pretty fast, if that helps.

instant email if you subscribe to keywords, stores, etc.
(assumes you check you email regularly or get popups)

In this day and age, there is no excuse for not having a browser window always open on ozbargain, unless you are, say, an astronaut, race car driver, long distance swimmer, deep sea diver etc - some sort of vocation that either renders your hands unavailable or that you cant access an internet signal for long periods of time

You can have a smart phone for under $30 these days - so in all reality, excuses are limited

Waste money on scarcely needed "bargains" anyway. No need to feed the greed compulsively.

  • Frequently the offers were for the preceding day and now expired. What do I have to do?

Go to My Account - Subscriptions - Newsletter and check the box that says Exclude expired deals. You won't receive expired deals in your newsletter.

  • Have changed to Midday.
