The 30% code seems to work. Price is $7.87

    GMGAUS-30J9MF-MUINWW

  • Damn, that's even better.

    • Update the deal then mate :)

  • Is this the base game plus the GOTYE upgrade/DLC or just the upgrade

    • +1

      Base + All DLC

      • Thanks
… damn bought the Base game from COTD for $7 thinking it a good deal! >.<

        • It was essentially $0 if you used the visa checkout glitch.

    Great find, thanks OP.
    Oh wait, I just realized
BUY GAMES DURING SALE NEVER PLAY IT

    • Actually play this game. This was my fave game of 2014

      • Well, to be fair, if you look over the games that came out in 2014, nobody would really blame you for it. It's a pretty bleak list lol.

Nemesis system really brought this game home.

    • +2

I'm so lazy that I don't even play most of the video games I buy. Too lazy… To play video games…

  • +1

Thanks OP good find, but be warned I just started the download and its 42gb.

    • …42GB?! Jesus….next we'll see games at 100GB in size….

      • Actually Battlefield 4 counts as one of the biggest one when it comes to file sizes. If you own and downloaded all the expansions released thus far I estimate it would be around 55gb

I haven't installed the latest DLC yet but when I get home I will eventually have to free up some space on my ssd…

      • Game sizes probably will not get much larger since you can only fit 46 GB on a dual layer BD-R. Which is good because my internet speed has remainded the same for the past 5 years, and will not be getting better anytime soon.

        • +1

What about triple layer blu ray disc…? I heard they store up to 100GB… I bet if this actually happens, games having 100GB in total size, we'll start having publishers releasing boxed PC games on blu-ray discs, heh.

  • This is a great game. Have fun!

  • +4

Oh god I dont have time to play it….. but I must have it,

    Brought game.
    Entered code into Steam.
Tried to find the game in Steam Library; has over 200 games due to OzBargain and Humble Bundle.
    Couldn't find the game.
    WTF.
Slapped forehead as I realised that this game starts with a "M" rather than a "S".

  • Thanks - purchased! :)

  • +1

Both Shadowrun Returns and Shadowrun Dragonfall are $2.99 which is 80% off plus you can add the 30% off coupon by the OP!

    • I bought Mordor and applied the code, I tried to buy some other game after but the code wouldn't work…

      • Likely a one time use. It should be noted that the discount will be applied to all items in the cart on your first order.

  • So, how does the referral links system work(as it can knock off an extra $2 from $7.87USD bringing it down to 5.87USD)? It just brings me to the home page, do I sign up from there or …is there another step? Confused as I've never used the referral system on here before.

    • GMG referrals has been on hold for over a month now, a new referral system is suppose to be implemented some time in the future.

      • ….so I should wait before signing up or sign up now and just grab this before this deal expires and sign up for a new one later on when the new system is implemented? …or would they know that I have two accounts? Or they don't really care and we can just keep creating new accounts for the referral bonus? hahaha

  • This game is fantastic, buy it guys. Some of the most refined 'brawler' style combat there is- plus, it's set in the LOTR universe!

    • I would say the combat isn't the main point of this game. I mean, it's pretty much the 'Arkham' combat with a bit more fluidity, but the Nemesis system is really what gives this game such high praise. If it was a bit more real time and didn't only progress when dying, the whole game would get a solid 9/10 from me for the nemesis system alone. But I'd probably chuck a 7 on there, for a weak second half.

Besides, Mad Max did the same combat and sandbox business and people don't typically care all that much about it.

  • Brilliant. Been hanging out for this game for ages. Should beat steam Xmas sale even if they have it at 85% off. Thanks OP

  • love this game.

Brilliant deal. One of the few games that never got on my pile of shame because I bought it and played it to completetion. Had it on my PS4 and played nothing else until I finished it. It was THAT fun.

    • +1

To be fair, in 2014 there wasn't much else you could've played on your PS4.

  • Epic find dude! Well done, got myself a copy! :D

Would prefer Cities SKylines than this

"This game is like a water-slide. Fun, no choice of direction and you forget about it when you move onto the next one. Combat physics is hard to apply to games, as would planning for a myriad of styles, they forgo these issues by implementing an Arkham Batman style of combat, which is lovely in small doses and for 1080 vids to showcase the game, but after killing the zillionth Ork you begin to get bored. Free-running needs to die, it needs to leave games right now, Assassin's Creed has been a cancer of the video game market. The basic formulae has been set by Arkham and AC they just needed to re-skin it and force through a story. Not a game that will capture you for very long should you be an adult that has developed a brain capable of logical and free thought. I gave it a 5 purely for the fact that it's well optimised. But let's be really honest if you have that many people at the top of their game creating a product you'd bloody well hope it was optimised."

"This game is not bad, it's just not as great as most people claim it to be. The story is generic and doesn't really fit into LotR universe; combat is taken from Arkham games; most of other mechanics (freerunning, stealth, detection system) is taken from AC series. And the only truly original feature, Nemesis system, is far too simple and repetitive to keep you playing this game longer than 10 hours. The longer you play this game the more flows you start to see: unpolished gaps in combat system, repetitiveness of missions, dumb (even for orcs) AI. I do not recommend buying this game at full price, wait for sale and only then consider a purchase."

    • I agree that most of its parts have been rehashes of other games that have come before it. However, as a gamer who has an embarrassing amount of games that I've not played, or played for just an hour or so, Shadow of Mordor totally kept me hooked. It might not have been completely original, and might not have been too complex, but it looked good, played well, and above all, completly fun for me. At the end of the day, that's the biggest draw for me.

I mean, I remember having ridiculous amounts of fun several decades ago from games which were way more simple and repetitive.

    Sigh, I caved.

  • Just had a look at a review on YouTube, game looks awesome!

    Thanks OP!

  • This was a great game and was worth the value at $50 bucks let alone 10.

  • Got this game for PS4 recently in the Dick Smith sales. Plenty of fun and highly recommended at this price!

This game is terrible… Here is a video that almost replicates my thoughts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AV9W2ZdmjU

  • Thanks mate! More games in the backlog!
