I was looking for free games for my son so I browsed entire XBOX store and found below games for free or 0.0 price tag to download and play.

You have to login with your microsoft account (xbox account) to be able to download these games. couple of games asked me for my CC details but with 0.0 price tag and nothing was charged from my CC account.

Hope some games are good for you/kids.

    Some of those are free-to-play. But I'm not seeing a $0 price tag on the other games.

    You can try Rise of the Tomb Raider for free, but the game costs $99.95

    I'm not sure where you're seeing Rise of the Tomb Raider as free, unless you're confusing "Try it free" for being free?

    some of the above list are $0.00 - that's sweet…

    but others that I checked, are not (RotTR and Thief were the two I checked)

    if you're seeing something different to me - I'd love to be proven wrong…?

        It's free to play game now and you buy new fighter and costumes etc. I think 4 fighters are free.

          If you are a Gold Member, just keep getting those each month… the rest aren't worth worrying about, with the possible exception of DoA5 and Killer Instinct if you enjoy fighting games.

    Most of these have always been free, like Killer Instinct and Dead of Alive for example, they've always been a F2P game, you just buy extra characters, which have been on sale lately… Episode 1s are given away eventually to sucker people into the series and buy the rest… Project Spark went free months ago.

    LOL I just paid $10 for a pre-owned Killer Instinct. Had to download a HUGE update to play, may as well purchased it for nothing.
