Are 'Games for Windows' games just like Steam in that they're permanently locked to your account? Or can you sell them if you don't want them (unlike Steam)? Just wondering because if they're not locked then activating them on Steam would lock them.

Awesome! I think ill purchase DoW2 as ive always wanted to try the series. Sucks batman wont allow it on steam :( Or else i would have bought it to! I hate all these account systems, I have a Steam account and a EA Account….Another one? I don't think so..

Just tried to buy the Batman game.
Created a new Windows Live account with a dummy US address.
However, it appears that not only does your account need to be in the US, but I guess you need a US credit card as well. Got the message "your card could not be authorised" when I entered my card number.
Buy some US Microsoft Points with your credit card and then activate it on the account :)
If you go the MSP route as an added bonus the Australian GFWL charges 1360 while the US store charges 1000.
Just bought this, and downloading it through Steam Unmetered! (Bigpond IS good for something :p) I was also wondering about that bonus key thing, maybe its for the wargear bonuses they had when it first launched?
