  • Need for speed is showing up as $30 for me, Lego batman 3 $8, transformers $29.99.

What makes the price different? (I'm not a Microsoft console user)

    • They actually reguarly make pricing errors early on, I paid $40 for NFS this morning though. Once I got Black Ops on 360 for $2-3 due to a pricing error, they do correct them though…

      • What do you think about nfs?

        • Honestly, not alot. But for the price…
It's the best discount of the lot so far.

    • +2

Those are from the US store

      • But I'm signed in. Shouldn't it know where I'm shopping from?

Your profile may me incorrect. I had that problem once, was Australian on one section but for some unknown reason had me based in the US, seems fixed now. Also their site is average at best.

  • Devastation has plummeted in price.

    • It's RRP was only $50 to begin with, I think JB tried to sell it for $60 though. Good game for the price though.

      • I know, but 50% off when it only came out a couple of months ago is pretty quick depreciation.

        • 60% off for NFS in a month is incredible. Which means it was a huge flop.

        • I finished it in 6 hrs but was real fun tbh. I even want to replay it again with all the different characters.

  • NFS up to $50 now. Probably would have bought it at $40. Definitely at $30

Oh hang on i don't have gold at the moment.

  • Is there an index page with all of them listed, or do you have to play lucky dip on their site?

  • Seems cheap, was looking at Fable 2 and Star wars force unleashed 2 for Xbox one (need to check Backwards compatability) but then I realized I can probably find Fable in a bargain Bin for $5 after xmas and get a physical copy

    • Fable 2 is, http://au.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/Xbox_One_Backward_Compatibi…
Generally first party title, and XBLA games get added, I wouldn't be holding my breath for games like Forces Unleashed 2 though. Especially if you don't have a 360 lying around incase it never gets added. They added another wave recently too, very average.

      • Force unleashed 1 is supported ( i think ), correct me if im wrong.

Wouldnt be such a big leap to support the second i would imagine?

Saying that I didnt even finish the force unleashed (1) I got through most of it but somehow never quite finished it.

        • It's not and what's more it's not on our digital store anymore. Annoyingly as it's also on sale (overseas). Maybe a distributor issue as that seems to be a big reason for games disappearing. So on that basis I'd think it's highly unlikely it'll ever be added.

  • There should be more games added later.
Other titles expected to be on sale soon include: Stick of Truth (X360); Rise of the Tomb Raider (XO); Rare Replay (XO); Halo 5 (XO); etc.

    • Halo 5 is on sale already, but a lousy $20 off, so I didn't bother to add it for the moment.

  • Has anyone had their XBL Gold AU account closed for buying content from other region offerings!?

    • You'd need to purchase via another overseas account. I don't think they'd ban your normal account though.

      • You need an OS billing profile not account. I buy games from the US store on my Xbox Gold account all the time. Just buy credit from MS or Amazon.

  • Don't know why but I never see any discounted price when I see all these xbox deals on ozbargain :(

    • Are you referring to their sale prices?

  • Back to the Future: The Game - 30th Anniversary Edition $22.41 https://store.xbox.com/en-AU/Xbox-One/Games/Back-to-the-Futu…

  • wouldn't call them bargains tbh, they were cheaper a month ago :(
The microsoft store leaves much to be desired.
Better off waiting for post xmas sales.

  • Portal: Still Alive. Xbox 360, xbox one compatible.
$4.93 for gold members, $6.42 standard.

Thanks OP for posting this deal…

Just checked some game add-ons and they are on sale too.

Picked up Storm Island for Horizon 2 for $6.74 (rrp was $26.95, but I'm sure I saw it less than that. Also got the Fast And Furious pack (stupidly didn't pick it up for free in April) for $6.73 down from $13.45

So if you are looking for some game content, might be a good time to buy

    • Thanks, it's mostly just Forza DLC, not much else atm.

  • +4
    • No mention of Need for Speed on this list.

    • Thank you. Pretty disappointing list, really.

  • State of decay is about $15, not bad

  • sorry xbox noob question

are these USD prices on the website?
when I click buy it says plus taxes so am i adding 10% GST to price listed?
I haven't added a credit card or xbox points or anything to my account yet

also while I'm at it gold membership do i buy from the CDkey places or wait for local specials
    which normally works out best?

    • I've linked to the Australian Store, no idea what you are looking at. Xbox Points were phased out 2 years ago…
Regularly 12 Month Gold subscriptions appear for around $40 online, half local price.

  • I just bought LEGO Marvel Super Heroes as daily special of US $5 with gold membership for my xbox360

    1. Bought US $5 gift card from US microsoft store
    2. Redeemed on commerce.microsoft.com and can see US $5 against account (failed to redeem on normal xbox site due to region error)
    3. Lego MSH appears on xbox360 console as part of advertising MS countdown sale + daily deal, buy it (does not work from web / xbox au or us sites due to region error)
    4. US 4.99 is taken out of MS account, now left with 0.01c

My xbox is region locked to AU like everyone else is.. my XBL account is also AU. Surprised it worked but yeah.

That's lucky. Sometimes buying US content can cause issues when it comes to downloading it too. For instance if the game isn't downloadable on our store (Jurassic Park and Mortal Kombat are 2 examples that annoy me greatly). Obviously Lego Marvel Super Heroes is on our store so it should still be ok. I believe the only way to get around that is a VPN, which frankly I can't be bothered with.
