dw just rent it and finish the singleplayer in a night or two. thats the only part worth playing (best few hrs ever)
then play the spec op missions (not that amazing, just mini challenges using bits of the campaign, but you have to complete them better or faster etc)the multiplayer is really crap, because the weapons and damage are so overpowered, its too repetitive and easy. the lack of dedicated servers and the fact that every second player is a 12 year old just make it a waste of time unless your the type that cares about ranks and acheivements.
just rent it for the SP, its like so much cheaper and all that the game is worth playing for anyway. Theres barely any replay value as well

I disagree. While I did love the SP, many people thought the MP was the only good part!
I actually believe the singleplayer, multiplayer and co-op are all very good. The replay value lies mostly in the multiplayer, which I find really fun and interesting to play.
I couldnt disagree more. This game was designed around multiplayer and gives days and days of game play. Its broken all multiplayer user records. Iv'e got the PS3 version and IMHO its is the best MP game around. Its definatly a must have.
Yeah, it has its issues (killstreaks, too much noobtubing, poor spawning) but it's an incredible amount of fun and you could easily get 70+ hours out of it before getting bored. SP campaign is criminally short but the great spec-ops and multiplayer more than makes up for it. Hopefully BC2 will be better though!

@walugi: I ment 1 Day = 24 hours. With the original Modern Warfare I clocked up about 30 days (over a couple of years)of game play and will likely do the same with this game.
The deal title should include the system (Xbox 360) since it doesn't look like the price applies to PS3 nor the PC version.
