I would consider getting a capsule to last up to 6 months and then a 0-8yrs seat rather than a convertible. Also some seats do rear facing until 2 years old, so maybe just consider when you want to turn them around. Safe n sound has a scheme where they replace the car seat for free if it is in a crash, so might be worth thinking about buying that model. I know this isn't specific to the deal, just worth considering before you commit to a seat.
