  • What's the other deals?

    • +1

To me, probably just the mechanical keyboard, Samsung 27" PLS monitor and the Creative T50 are deals. not too interested in the rest.

      • oops didnt see the others lol

        • the 2 24" LCDs seem pretty good quality and cheap

        • @tonyjzx: Out of the two monitor which one is better?

  • The CM Storm Sonuz is $30-60 dollars cheaper than anywhere else in Australia. Somehow it's selling for $108 (USD) on Amazon.

Definitely a good price but the headset seems quite mediocre according to reviews.

    • Indeed mate. Good price but not the best quality I reckon.

      • Reviews seem really split. It's either loved or hated. The detachable mic arm seems pretty nifty. Though I suspect because it's not very flexible and seems pretty bulky, most people are right in saying it won't be comfortable for prolonged usage.

The thing is, the RRP everywhere (including the US & UK) seems to be well north of $60 AUD (despite the fact it launched 2012, prices haven't come down much), so it really is a bargain price.

        • how can you say 'oh, its a good price' when the item is a piece of shit?

          i dont get it lol

        • @millusions: Because it's a good price. An item can be terrible but still sell for a low enough price to actually put it into a totally different price bracket/performance segment where it does better against competitors compared to its original target segment. In its original price bracket ($60 - 100 dollars), there's no way anyone should be passing up other options in favour of the Sonuz, but for $30 bucks, it's a historical low price, on an international scale.
How often is it Australia ever sees prices lower than the US or UK, especially for an item that's been selling for years?

I didn't say it was completely worthless by the way. I think it'd do the job and it'd probably beat out a lot of other stuff in the same price range, but budget gaming headsets are basically a myriad of compromises.

I have a Logiteh G430 that people on Amazon are wetting themselves over and that usually costs above $60 AUD; and I'd certainly call that a POS given it's been sitting a drawer since I've had it. The worthless mic makes it pretty much useless for me.

  • Anyone know if msy has the cooler master hyper 212x cpu cooler. The website doesn't have it but StaticICE has it down for 55 bucks.

    • try searching for it on their pdf part list

  • Waiting for this deal to go online since yesterday 12:01 am. Really interested to know more about the Samsung PLS monitor. Most likely first to be released here in AUS since no one else has it.

If the specs of that follow the one on the Samsung UK website, that's a 27 inch PLS monitor with Radeon FreeSync, light blue LED effects on the bezels, AND wireless charging for $359. Pretty sweet deal!

    • How is it? too bad it doesnt come in black

      • I'm not confident in pulling the trigger since no one has done a review on it.

It looks so sexy and tempting though..
