    I don't understand the picture that shows if the product is compatible or incompatible. What does this thing need in order to be compatible?

    How does the Bluetooth work? I imagined it because a Bluetooth receiver with aux out but I don't see such sockets.

      I believe it receives audio stream via bluetooth then broadcast via built-in FM transmitter, then the audio stream can get picked up by you car's fm receiver

          i drive a 2006 holden astra which doesn't have bluetooth, so it's actually quite handy for me. but the lack of handfree feature killed it.

    Lots of People feedback to them about want the handset free feature in next version.

    I saw these before, but the incompatibility list seems a bit long, and without handsfree support it's kind of not so useful.

    Got one and it doesn't work on my Mazda CX-5, they do have a adapter for pre sale but that's like $20 so looking at close to $40 for this…..Xiaomi is no longer cheap anymore. However they are doing really well with their smart home stuff and very cost effective. Not 100% reliable yet but getting there. I just got one of the white lights to test out along with the smart home security suite. Fun stuff!

      I bought my wife a CX-5 (2012)
      It has Bluetooth built in to the standard head unit and USB port in the center console… I did a search but cant find a CX-5 that doesn't have these features.. Why would you need this?

        Being a Xiaomi fan but also needing a 2.1A USB charger. The cars one is way too slow as I am pretty sure the USB port is for the music

          Agreed it is pretty slow to charge (the USB port in the console)
          But if you overlook the Xiaomi fan part, then i'll let you know Big W have USB 2.1Amp dual chargers for ~$3 and even cheaper on ebay.

          Also, yes the port does push data to the head unit.

    Hey rep, I noticed in the YouTube video posted earlier the FM frequency was 96.45, in Brisbane that's an issue with an existing 96.5 station, can the frequency on the charger be adjusted easily?

      Yes, you can easily change the FM to the one that's workable for you after you connect the car charger with your phone.
