    • Nevermind :) Installing the CIR reciever fixed that.

  • Our 5 just arrived :) one is DOA :(

  • Just got mine today from store at richmond.

    Very happy.

    Negatives:
    No Gigabit, VISTA
    I dont think i got a mini remote :(

    POSITIVES
    13" :)
    13" With good cpu, memory
Feels fast using it, Very well Spec'd machine.
Cheap Cheap Bargain (guessing due to vista, no gigabit, CPU slightly outdated)
Multi touch mouse pad, pinch for zoom

MLN staff at Richmond were very friendly and helpful.
I will be recommending them to anyone who asks me about laptops.

    • The mini remote should have been in a plastic bag in the box, it's pretty useless. Maybe they put it in the card reader slot for you on the right side.

  • Im thinking of getting one to upgrade from my 3 yo A8JS but Im not sure whether to get this one or pay a little extra for the Toshiba L500. Im not concerned about portability because it will rarely leave my house. Any suggestions?

    • The l500 has windows 7 and slightly faster CPU which are both good points.

I would go have a look in person.. see which one you like better both are very good deals.

If your going to be watching movies etc.. The larger screen and hdd on the Toshiba might come in handy..

I went the HP for the small size.

      • thanks for the tip

yeah Im thinking for not much more you get the bigger hdd and screen and windows 7. The size doesn't really matter to me

  • I found the remote… its very very small was in the start here poster that I completely ignored..

  • MLN, whats the exact model of the L500 you are selling similar to this deal?
