Guacamelee! is a Metroidvania-style action-platformer set in a magical world inspired by traditional Mexican culture and folklore. The game features melee combat, parallel dimensions and same-screen co-op. The original Guacamelee! received wide critical acclaim and was a finalist for both IndieCade and the Independent Games Festival's Excellence in Visual Art award.

    Couldn't agree more. Seriously wicked game, got it for free with games with gold on xbone so bought the villian pack, as a form of "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY"

  I think I've spent more time in this game than any other game in my (extensive) steam collection.

  Up to 4 player local co-op, perfect with controllers - it really is a must-buy for so many reasons. No other platformer comes close.

  got this free on xbone ages ago.. it's really fun and i recommend it.. it's basically a sidescrolling beat em up but u have combo moves like street fighter and shiz.. good fun

  its a great game, i recommend a controller if playing on PC though, as you go on you will need to execute more difficult moves and using a keyboard is pretty much handicapping yourself

  One of the best platformers I've played, this game is super addictive. On my first play I played for about 9 hours straight.
