SUBMIT THE REGISTRATION CODE FROM SETTINGS PAGE TO REMOVE ADS (VALID ONLY FOR TODAY). Don't intent to make much from ads. I will send you the reg code if you just drop me an email.

I am just a not very active ozbargainer who happens to know some android programming and built this in my spare time along with my job. Something I always wanted for quite a while. I hope you guys like it. This is just the first version and would appreciate your feedback so I could improve the app over time. I will try and build one for IOS soon.

Finally a complete application for you favourite deals website : www.ozbargain.com.au

The highly configurable application will let you configure the no of pages to load from the settings page.
The deals are loaded automatically as you scroll through the list of deals to create smooth experience.
View the screenshot, ratings, title and when the deal was posted
Single tap on the deal to view the description
Hold you finger on the deal for two seconds to open the ozbargain deal page
Swipe down to refresh and download the latest deals on the page

Browse All Deals

Browse through all the deals as and when they are posted on the All Deals Tab.

Browse Popular Deals

Browse all front page deals by clicking on Popular deals tab or selecting from the navigation menu.

View Top 10 Deals by category

Select a deal category from the navigation menu to load top ten deals in that category

Filter Deals

Filter the deals by clicking the magnification icon on the app bar and enter the search text

Search Deals

Enter the search keyword by clicking the magnification icon and click Go on the keyboard

Keyword Notification

From the menu list select settings menu and click on keyword tab to add keyword to check
On the settings configuration page select "Search keyword in Background" to enable keyword check
Select the frequency for the background tasks in minutes by selecting "Search Keywords every (minutes) option

High Activity Deals Notification

Keyword check must be enabled to get high activity deals notifications
Enable "Notify High Activity Deals" setting

Notification on positive votes

You will be notified when the no of deals reach the selected threshold
Select "Enable Notification for positive Votes" to Yes
Select "No of positive votes to be notified"

Open deals in a browser window

By default the application will open all links on the ozbargain deal page in the application.
Select No for setting "Open deal page links in the app" to launch the browser.
Press back to return to the app from the browser
This option is to allow commenting on the deals by logging in from the browser

  Ok I closed it down and went to restart the app and it now crashes. I restarted my phone and it still crashes.

Can only view ads without the comments … kill 50% fun on OZ
then not be able to click on the ads website …. not sure if i be able to live with it

Maybe add those in , the app itself look really nice :)

I'm receiving the crash on the app as well on my samsung note 5. But I managed to get pass the crashing, seems it doesn't like the first page on startup. I quickly tapped the next button at the bottom before it crashed and it seemed to work.

Is there an option to set the homepage (i.e. every time I open the app, I want it to show a specific category to start from)?

When I click on the "About" option at the top right in the Settings page, it redirects to "Page not found" at creatisolutions.co.nf/ozb/about

    It worked good on my asus me302c andr-v4.3 including the registration code, however did not work on telstra 4gx buzz andr-v5.0.2, after the update it works well on both.
    I really like the layout and functionality, would it be possible to add access to the forums in the future?
    Would it be possible to get a registration code to remove adds on the 4gx buzz?
