Can I ask how much it going to be to purchase 2 NAS HD with QNAP or Synology NAS enclosure? it is a large investment for a normal household.

    • It will all depend on your storage requirements. Your options for this deal is 2TB, 4TB or 6TB

      • What will the best price be for 2Tb + 2TB + the enclosure?

        • No Idea, you might want to do your research on Static-ice as suggested above or Google.

Not sure if I'm reading the deal wrong, but it seems that you need to buy a NAS + 3 HDDs to be eligible to receive a fourth drive for free?

      • Thats how I read it.

      • Correct. From the T&C link:

1.1 Description of Promotion. When a customer purchases three of the Seagate NAS HDD and a QNAP or Synology NAS enclosure listed in Paragraph 1.4, the customer will be entitled to a free NAS HDD matching the lowest capacity hard drive purchased. This campaign is limited up to 500 bundles.

  • What if the NAS takes only 2 hard drives?

    • Rotate through the other 2! Potentially could keep one at work - one at your parents = Max data fail safe!

(I should really think about something like this… although USB drives will probably do as well.)

    • There are no 2-bay NASs that are eligible for the offer, so it doesn't matter if you do choose to buy a 2-bay as you won't be getting a free drive.

  • 1.7 Government Employees. The Promoter is committed to complying with government gift and ethics rules and therefore government employees are not eligible to participate in this promotion

Lol wtf. Limited to 500 claims too? Its been going 2 months already.

  • This was mentioned in another deal recently but didn't attract much attention.
