Did anyone receive BUPA sunglasses from previous deal?

Hi Guys, Just want to check if anyone purchased previous BUPA sunglasses deal which included Ray-Ban for $49 and have received glasses. Most of people i know have received refund email, so just wondering if that was only a trick by them to capture details of users to be used somewhere else?

    • seems like all of us got cancellation saying limited stock but i wonder how limited it was when there seems to be no one atleast from ozbargain received that.

    Made two orders, got one refund/cancellation email, credit card charged thrice instead of twice. Refund email refers to 'order' (singular) with no order number/reference and no specification of amount to be refunded. Sigh.

    Everyone is pissed, and leaving feedback to their facebook page. Their rating is going down rapidly.

    • The main branch BUPA had nothing to do with it… 4/5 stars to 2/5 in a week. The e-commerce/social media person job just went to hell.

      • I don't think there is one - I'm reading through all the comments including the ones where people got screwed over for the level of cover - and not one response from BUPA.

    The Ray-Ban 0RB4165 (Justin) are on their website now for $160. the 30% off only brings them down to $112…. so over double the cost of the ones in their 'sale'

    • report to Australian consumber about this fraud and scam they will take some action against bupa..I already reported CBS about this.. I will wait for their reply. its time to teach lesson to bupa so they will not do this again in future.. I think we all should report to consumer about this issue.

    • I am not sure, but i think someone should report it to be investigated further. Ozbargainer are quick to secure an item and i cannot even find any who received the items they ordered. I wonder if it was just someone to capture personal information of users for marketing or other purpose, not sure.

  • Cancelled, and they are still holing my money refunding it after a maximum of 30 days and claiming the interest haha. If that money was in my account it would have gained interest in my account. They just got away with it :)

  • I ordered on the 30/12/15. No delivery. No email cancellation, no reply to my multiple emails to [email protected]. Their number 1300791985 is on answering machine directing me to the website, and I've left messages anyway. I've called the head Melbourne store, who can't help, nor can Doncaster.

    I'm initiating a charge back

    • I managed to contact BUPA via Facebook. They promised someone would contact me shortly. They did via email the next day asking for my order number. It has been another 5 days and no contact since. It has been over 1 month since my order.

      • I have the same issue. I got one reply from them so far that said it was shipped on the 8/1/16 but it never arrived. Still trying to get a refund but no replies. I emailed all three emails that I tried to contact them so far.

        • Message Bupa Australia via Facebook. They took a long time to sort it out, but I got a refund within a week of contacting them that way

        • @butwhy: Haha, I messaged via Facebook and got a reply from them in around 4 hours? After waiting for the first 2 hours for them to reply I was too frustrated about the whole thing and applied for a charge back through my bank. That bad timing… probably out of pocket for $10 for charge back fees.

        • Just use the fb messenger like email. Don't sit there waiting for a reply otherwise you'll waste years
