IGN has named independent developer Amirali Rajan’s chart-topping atmospheric adventure title A Dark Room its new Game of the Month, meaning you can download it at no charge for a limited time.

How to redeem A Dark Room
Step 1: visit IGN’s promo site on your iPhone, iPod touch, iPad or Mac.

Step 2: Now tap on the red button labeled Get Free Game below splash graphics.

Step 3: Your promo code should appear on the screen. Tap it to redeem the game.

Tip: Alternatively, manually paste the code into the Redeem section of the App Store on the iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, or iTunes on Mac and Windows PCs.

    Interesting that the page with the redeem code says that it is only valid in the Canadian iOS store, but appears to work fine in the AU store

      I was skeptical at first aswell, but found myself drawn to it every time I had a spare 10 minutes. It really grabs you and pulls you into the story of it all

        Each to their own. It took a little while to figure out, but I loved this game. Reminded me of some of the text adventure games that were around in the mid-80s.
