I drove through the Sydney Harbour Bridge without a tag yesterday (8th Jan) and it says I need to pay within 3 days. (States on RMS)
I'm currently on the RMS site and I followed the prompts, however it says that I need to register an eMU Pass which involves a $1.50 registration fee. Do I proceed with this? OR is there some other way?

In 2001 we crossed the Harbour Bridge obeying a huge neon sign showing the letter E. Of course, they would not take physical money at the booth, and some days later we received a bill. I telephoned, spoke to the manager, and explained we followed his sign. He said that was for the electronic toll lane. I said it said no such thing, it did not say electronic or e-toll or e-way, just a huge E, and it has been common knowledge for many centuries that E on maps and signs stands for East, which is the direction we required. He said we can't call it E-toll because of copyright and he told me to tear up the bill.
I'll take Things That Never Happened for 300.
We intended to use the tunnel, but when we saw the huge E we followed that, assuming E meant East, and expecting a subsequent sign to direct us to the tunnel. But we couldn't see one and eventually reached a point of no return.

Proceed. Emu pass is like a once off pass. It's a pain to go through but it's the only option. I had to go through it last year.
