A retro ice-cream truck is heading to a uni near you to make your day just that little bit sweeter, with ice cream treats and magazine giveaways!

Sportsgirl will be bringing you a free sugar fix as well as copies of the latest Sportsgirl magazine! Check out dates and details below:

    They were at Melb Uni today. Lines were short. Got a free icecream in 2 minutes. Really creamy texture.

      I figured the lines would be long around lunchtime so headed over at 11:03am. They were not quite ready yet (the promo guys had gotten lost on campus) so I chatted to them for a while. I was amused to watch all the other students walking past oblivious to the ice cream offer - there was one other student who showed up at 11:04am and we stood chatting for a couple of minutes.

      When they decided to start the promo we each got an icecream and went to leave the area. There were about 50 people within 20 metres of the van at the time and when they suddenly saw people getting ice cream, it was amusing to watch whole groups of people suddenly stop walking and turn toward the van a la zombies who suddenly find a human has wandered into their midst.

      We're all screwed during the zombie apocalypse if human brains taste as good as ice cream because the zombies will never stop hunting us down…
