Lonely Planet are having a Buy 3 books get the cheapest one free deal on at the moment which is applied automatically during checkout.
I also received a 30% off voucher code after I signed up for their newsletter (SUBSCRIBE30).
Also, they ship to Australia for free if your order is over AU$60.

All three of these offers work simultaneously (I've just received my books).

It doesn't say on the website or email when any of these offers will expire, so you may want to get in soon, or try your luck waiting for the latest versions to be released (check on the product page for when the next edition will be available).

nb. the 3 for 2 offer seems to have a few exclusions:
Offer available on in-stock titles only.
Offer excludes Guidebook Packs and the title Australia 42.

EDIT:
Just realised that Money Back Co has 10% for this retailer. Wish I knew that before!! :P

  • Pretty good!

  • +1

Amazingly, still cheaper to get it from bookdepository.com, and you don't have to buy 3+ :P

    e.g. randomly selected, identical ISBNs:

    Spain $45 at LP.com vs $22 at bd.com
    India $49 at LP.com vs $26.50 at bd.com
    Syria & Lebanon $40 at LP.com vs $22 at bd.com

    • Adding those books to the bookdepository.co.uk shopping cart, total was AUD$69.11
However, adding them to the lonelyplanet.com shopping cart, total was AUD$65.78 (incl. 30% code)

      Both have free shipping.
      lonelyplanet.com has a further 10% moneyback co.

Is there a bookdepository discount code we can use to make it cheaper?

Agreed, book depository is probably the better choice if you only need 1 book.

      • Yeah Bookdepository has 5% off at the moment.
this is still a cool deal though

      • Yeah, the LP prices are better than I initially thought, especially if you use moneybackco.

So if you use all the codes, the free shipping, moneybackco and like buying in lots of 3, then the LP deal is better.

Otherwise BD (and as John Stone says below, try both UK and US versions).

      • Bought a Thailand travel guide for AUD22.58 incl. 5% off even though I paid with a credit card. The UK site of BD was slightly cheaper than the US site.

  • Also if you go to bookdepository.co.uk instead of bookdepository.com some books are even cheaper.
They are the same company and they ship from the UK even if you order from the .com site

    ie

Spain is $20.69 instead of $22
India is $23.69 instead of $26.50
and Syria & Lebanon is more expensive at $24.73 instead of $22

  • got the france pack and the italy book….all four books delivered for 83
    pretty decent

    • Hm. I'm sorry if this brings you down a little but… you could have got it from bookdepository including delivery for about $59 after the Paypal discount.

  • nice research dude +rep
