  • Currently the best phone at this price point in the pre-paid market.

  • Whats optus like with warranty claims?

    Can they be rooted?

    • +1

Sometimes, but my local store seems ok.

      • Any ideas on if you can put custom roms on this?

  • anyone know how much to unlock this phone from Optus?

    • +1

Not sure about Optus, but eBay was $1.30 and it's been fine on boost. Running gta san Andreas from an sd card

      • How well does it run a game like GTA? Runs with max everything or needs turning detail down to get acceptable framerates? How good is the vivid screen?

        • +1

I just had a go with high detail car reflection and heavy traffic - ended up not coping well. But playing on 4.5in,low res is fine. Screen is nice and bright, pretty decent in Sunshine. I was pleasantly surprised what $50 can get you, compared to the boost icon Nero I got last year for $59.

I bought this phone and I found battery had not enough capacity.
Only 27 hours for standby ( no call no sms)
I think more less if I use any APP.

This is the point of this cheap price.

    • That's weird. The only things I can think of that are causing this, are your background processes and a faulty battery.

Similar phones in this low-end range only have an extra 200-400 mAh and that lasts for days without recharging its battery. e.g. Buzz and Y550 and others.

You can also try and re-calibrate the battery by running it down to 5% and then charging it all the way back up.

  • I checked battery usage.
OS usage is 10% which is normal, call standby is 2%.
But Google play services is 32% and my optus is 4%.
I did not install anything yet.
I think these APP are the problem.
I will refresh the battery anyway.

    Thanks ponyhearts

  • Better than ZTE Fit?

    • Maybe better camera and screen?. Better interms of newer version of Android, and band support. Downgrade interms of performance.

  • what about the RAM? what about the ROM? The most two important spec

    • And Android version.

  • Will this be fully compatible with Telstra network if I unlock it?
Is there much performance difference going from dual-core to quad-core? (same 1gb RAM)

  • Says it is $69 now?

    edit: my bad expired yesterday
