Good Tower Fan for Use in The Living Room

hi all,
I have been looking for a tower fan in this heat, and have managed to zero in on a few. Would help to get reviews from others as well, from their experience with similar fans. The room I am looking to put this in would be my living room, which is a bit bigger than average living rooms, but can occasionally move them to the bedroom as well, depending on the weather.

EXCELAIR - ETF901 - TOWER FAN - Bing Lee - 79 (after Bing Lee 20% discount)
Sunbeam Tower Fan with Night Mode - FA7250 - Big W - 85
Kambrook Arctic Tower Fan with LED Display - HN - 89.95
Fenici 125cm Misting Tower Fan FFTFC50DE - Big W - 109.95
EXCELAIR - ETF10R - TOWER FAN - Bing Lee - 151(after Bing Lee 20% discount)

Here I have listed the items as per increasing prices. Would be really helpful if people can let me know the best of the lot as like "value for money" perspective. Also, please do suggest any alternatives if I have missed them out.

Since the Bing Lee offer closes tonight, I will have to make a purchase today itself.

  • Off the list you've put together, I'd say no 1 if you want bang for buck or no 4 if you want the fancy misting effect - may or may not be effective depending on where you live and the particular weather that day. Both have remote controls.

So depending on how much 30 bucks means to you, you can choose 1 or 4. Thats what I'd do :)

Yeah, wouldn't go a misting fan if there's any electronics in the room

I got this fan from a 20% off eBaysale from TGG.

Had plenty of good reviews, comes with a remote, and is quiet enough to not hinder sleep.

  • which one is more quite?:)

  • I have the Kambrook Arctic in my bedroom and it's fantastic. It can get loud on the 3rd speed but is otherwise fine. I don't think it would be appropriate for a larger-than-average room as described though.
