Half Price Live & Frozen Insects + Shipping @ The ARCade

190
halfpricepack

Coupon code has spaces, is not 3 separate codes

Received this in an email a couple of weeks ago, doesn't appear to be a targeted deal:

"The Amphibian Research Centre's online store has had a massive revamp and the new store is now open for business!

The new ARCade still has the same great live insects and frozen rodents and the service you have come to expect, but it also has new features and better automation that we know will help you get the most from our service."

I've ordered from these guys a couple of times before and had pretty good experiences. They only ship orders on Tuesday each week to ensure the courier won't have the package over a weekend.

The crickets are typically larger and healthier then what you will get in pet stores.

Curious to see if the coupon code applies for ongoing deliveries, I guess I'll find out in a few weeks.

Bit of an odd deal but feeding reptiles can get very expensive, very quickly. :)

    • Live & Frozen Insects !!

    • not to mention pet shops don't really like you buying their live mice to feed to your snake. learned that one the hard way hhaha

      • Same thing happens when I buy up all their fish to feed to my turtles. Always get's a laugh!

      • not smart…. live foods can do a lot of damage to a snake, particularly if they aren't hungry….

        frozen rodents

        Cold comfort food for snakes.

thats not a half bad idea actually

imagine the noise they'd make when they get out. You'd just have to move haha

  • Wow….. $40 shipping for a $30 bag of XL rats…..

    Nope….

    • +1

Damn thats not cheap at all.
      Demolition Man lied to us!!

    • I noticed shipping on frozen stuff wasn't great, much more difficult to ship. I think you need to buy bulk to see good savings there.

Shipping live (Crickets/Woodies) worked out really well. A tub of 50 Pisces crickets is about $5 in a pet store, quality can vary depending on how long they've been on the shelf. Can get a small tub of 175 larger (3/4") from ARCade for about ~$15 without coupon, ~10$ with.

    Easter dinner sorted. Thanks OP.

Make sure to pick up the woodies, much more nutritious! The kids will love them!

  • Christmas sorted.

  • I have seen a lot of things on the bargs. This is a first. Well done OP.

this is one deal that if you only hear crickets it's actually a good thing!
