  Looks like a great way to reduce waste and I want to support local business but your claim of a cheaper alternative is a bit vague.

  Coles are currently selling a 4 pack of refills for $33. I believe original cassettes are 12m which works out to 69c per metre compared to these which work out to 75c per metre (or 87c shipped).

  Am I missing something?

    Thank you for your message. I have tried to click on the actual product on the shop.coles.com.au webpage and when I click to add to the cart to see the shipping costs I get the following error:

    "Product not found error
    The product you are looking for can not be found."

    Are you able to actually add this to your shopping cart and purchase as I was unable to?

    Here is the basis for the calculations based on the normal largest pack offered by Sangenic (with the cheapest price I could find) vs. our Product:

    PooTube

    Unit Price = $6
    QTY in pack = 10
    Pack Price = $60
    Shipping = $10
    TOTAL = $70
    Unit Length = 8m
    Tot Length = 80m
    Price per m = $0.88/m

    Sangenic

    Unit Price = $11
    QTY in pack = 6
    Pack Price = $66
    Shipping = $10
    TOTAL = $76
    Unit Length = 12m
    Tot Length = 72m
    Price per m = $1.06/m

    Freight charge is an average of what you would normally pay, As we mention we also offer combined freight discounts which make the product even cheaper!

      No problem adding to cart, didn't go through with the purchase but can't see a problem. I'm in NSW, doesn't look like the special is available for Vic which is probably why you're getting the error.

      I'm going off the assumption that most people would be in or near a Coles so shipping doesn't add to the price. 4 pack of originals for $33 works out cheaper for me but I'll check you guys out when we run out.

      Good luck with the business, it's a great idea but pricing would need to be more competitive to generate interest on OzBargain. Most people only care about price here and at 25% dearer than the Coles (where the special's available) I doubt you'll find much love here.

        That does explain why we are not able to add to our cart. Certainly for other destinations we are cheaper than the originals so happy to help anyone out that's unable to get that offer!
