    @JasonRio - with an Onkyo TXNR 545 -what things we need to look when we select an Atmos ceiling speakers?
    My friend has this receiver doesn't want to spend too much on proper Atmos speakers now and is wondering for the time being whether he can connect any bookshelf speakers and place it in a height which will create a feel that the sound is coming from above. If so what things he need to check before purchasing a pair?

      First thing you need to look for is speakers that have a similar tone to your other speakers if possible. You want the sound traveling around the room to sound consistent. Don't buy cheap n nasty speakers. If you are serious enough to cut holes in your ceiling you should serious enough to buy the right equipment.
