Here at Exigent Enterprise, we offer a fully managed Corporate Cloud service that includes Cloud Storage, Cloud Virtual Desktop, Cloud Hosted Exchange and Cloud Backup.

Until 19th of February, you can sign up to our Basic Cloud Virtual Desktop that comes with 10GB of personal cloud storage space for only $15.95/per month.

We also provide Cloud Storage space for businesses that may be looking to move to the cloud. You can order 100GB, 500GB, 1TB or 10TB of storage space and use this common cloud storage space with other staff members for business data while accessing it from anywhere through our Virtual Desktop or VPN services.

Have peace of mind knowing that your Cloud Storage data is always backed up to our Cloud Backup platform, using VEEAM backup.

All services are hosted in our Australian data centres.

  I'm presuming the cloud desktop runs on windows? Can a single user sign up? or is there a minimum number of users?

    Yes, this is using Windows and there's no minimum requirement, so certainly 1 user can sign up.

    With each Virtual Desktop account comes 10GB of personal storage space and than you can opt to sign up for Common Cloud Storage Space and this space can be used with our work colleges who have a Virtual Desktop account with us as well.

        We're using Microsoft Remote Gateway so you will log into our web portal to be able to access the desktop and other applications that we can host for you.

        It's Windows 2012 Server.

        Windows 7, 8, 10, etc are not allowed to be virtualised however, Windows 2012 Virtual Desktop gives you the same look and feel as Windows 7/8/10.

        @exigent: Thank you for clarifying but I thought my first questions was quite clear "Do customers get an actual Windows desktop or just something that looks like a desktop but runs off Windows server ? " . My understanding is Windows 7, 8, 10 can be visualized , just not offered as a service from a 3rd party.

        It can't be virtualised under the Microsoft licensing agreement when installing the operating system (as we have been told by Microsoft themselves on many occasions). Third parties like ourselves can provide the licensing for Windows 7, 8 and 10 but it must be installed onto a standalone desktop.

        @exigent: hi I'm very interested in the remote desktop product as an it person. Does it have MS Office? Can 3rd party apps be installed? Is server 2012 r2 an option? RemoteApp? Each customer gets their own vm?

        Yes, we do provide MS Office 2013 with our Hosted Desktop services and yes, 3rd party applications can be installed onto an application server for you and advertised to your desktop and web access portal for you to use. The server is Windows 2012 R2 and it's a hosted desktop, not a virtual server.
