I'm not sure if this is a glitch or if Google/Samsung has launched a new promotion. My current free 6-month Google AI subscription is about to expire, but when I opened the Google One app, it offered me another 6 months for free ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. So I'm good until Feb 2026.

Mine is the base S25, but I assume this offer should also apply to the more expensive models. You might want to check your app to see if you're eligible. As always be sure to cancel immediately if you don’t want to be charged after the trial ends.

      Thanks OP, this is great. FYI everyone, this can be used as a sort of read-only extra cloud backup for 2TB of your important stuff for two years after the subscription expires (after which it is deleted, so watch out). For this to work well, I suggest making a seperate google account to subscribe with, because your email is frozen along with the files after the subscription ends. Wouldn't be useful if you did it with your primary google account.

    Unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to add the additional 6 months to an existing free subscription.

    I had to end my initial free subscription a few weeks early to take up the new 6 month free deal

      I got a notification today that my free six months was coming to an end soon. Opened the Google One app like op said, and it allowed me straight up add another free six months on.

      I downloaded google one on my S25 Ultra, signed in to my google account, and got a pop up saying I am eligible for 6 months free.

      To cancel membership - from google one click on the menu, settings, cancel membership

    I cancelled my subscription last week and thought I wouldn't be able to get this new offer but I did.

    In the Google One app, go to Settings then Check for offers and it should show you the new offer.

    It starts a new trial and expires 6 months from the date you start it so it might be better to wait until your current trial is about to expire.

    I'd never buy Samsung after they refused Flip z warranty. Terrible customer service from warranty team and not even returning the phone until we followed up after months they took the device.Lesson learnt, next time I'd the reviews before buying these expensive phones.

    I had to specifically hit the "Check for offers" option in the menu to make it appear for me.
