Whats your point? Pretty standard for cheap RC items.

    • thats run time between charges, pretty much standard across all RC drones…

  • Battery life: 7-9 minutes

meh… battery technology is still feel like dinosaur even in 2016. why we are still using same old lithium??? no one smart enough to invent new battery tech?

Sounds like you've just come up with the agenda of the next General Assembly of the United Nations….

      • yeah thats the first world problem.. battery…

huh? Does not seem very long ago we were using NiMH in RC toys. Lots of people still do.
And RC helicopters ran on petrol!

  • Is the minidrone even waterproof? One splash or flip and its all over

    • Note they say fresh water. So I'd assume "water resistant".
If it gets wet, you dry it out. Salt will kill it. I would not use it in a chlorinated swimming pool either.

      • I'm more thinking of taking a corner too tightly and having it roll over. Wonder how it would survive a dunking

        • At least the same way your phone or other electronics survives a dunking - open the cover remove the battery and let it dry out.
(unless you have an iPhone and no tools handy, in which case you are screwed.)

BTW, am not sure a "too tight" corner is possible, as the hydrofoil has no rudder.
