I'm not sure if this is a deal as I have no idea if this is across stores or already posted but I just saw an amazing deal at Adelaide City Myer store.
5K 27" iMac marked as original price $3199 down to $2399. It was new unopened and sitting on two 21" iMacs with similar discounts. I'm posting from mobile but I'll upload the pics and link shortly.

this is the older model with 5th Gen i5.
current model comes with 6th Gen i5 and newly designed Magic Mouse 2 and rechargeable Magic Keyboards.

What exactly is your point (I don't mean to be rude with that question by the way)?
In these particular iMac's that remain a user is very limited in their upgrade path, this means that the Memory (or RAM) and the Storage is for all practical purposes fixed and not able to be upgraded.
The RAM in my view is meh, insufficient.
I wouldn't touch anything "new" with a Hard Drive when a SSD or Fusion Drive is available.
Fruit shouldn't be sold after its expiry date.
The same model at myer Melbourne cbd is selling for $2800 for clearance, wondering why the price is so different between these two places.
I'm fairly sure the 27in was sold, it isn't on the floor anymore at this location.
Apparently the store manager there make their own decision and trying to get rid of the old stock. It is a special discount for the Adelaide office only.
IMO should posted as a deal.
There are really not sufficient quantities to warrant that.
