    The 2012 Alpha Crucis Cabernet was selling on VinoMofo for $34 in November 2015, probably a better vintage than 2011 too. So factor the 2011 value at $70 for 2…

      Hi Brian, I appreciate the point that you are making, we don't usually sell the 2011 Alpha Crucis Cabernet for $95 a bottle. The idea of the deal was if you pay the retail value of the two Alpha, you get the other 12 bottles for nothing. If VM were offering a free dozen at $35 a bottle, I'd be very impressed. It was just a clever way to market a 14 bottle box. I'm sorry if it confused or offended

        Not confused or really offended, but never impressed by this style of marketing, so decided to note the reality that you are offering 12 bottles of fairly ordinary wine for $120 after allowing a "market" price on the Alpha Crucis.

        Actually very "brave" to post this sort of offer here.

    If you would rather look at it as the total offer of 14 bottles of red at an average of just over $13.50 a bottle, you can. It was just a different way of marketing a pack. No offense was intended

        Buy 4 of the Cabernet and you can most certainly have a dozen each of the others. Although, Jeanneret might not appreciate their $27 Cabernet Malbec being called one of the "cheapies" it is a stunning drop! :)

    Just because it has previously been butchered by VM, doesn't make it a $8.10 a bottle wine. The value of a wine can not be attributed to what it is discounted to.

        That is one way to look at it I guess, if you can buy it for $8.10 rather than in this deal, I will 100% be ok with that. I didn't post the offer to have exclusive rights to any product. Plenty of people have taken it up and have been happy. I understand not everything will appeal to everyone. Thanks for the feedback though :)
