  • I'm all for discounts. but when the whole purpose is that it's a donation it seems a bit pointless.

    Would rather walk the dog somewhere more peaceful and give a few bucks to charity.

      Lighten up mate it's just a bit of fun. They have plenty stalls there which also help to raise money. If your dog is social its good fun for them interacting with hundreds of other dogs.

    We did this a couple of years ago and we didn't even have a dog. It was fun to be out walking just surrounded by such a happy bunch of dogs; they really make you smile. The downside was that someone had been killed near the lake so some of the area had the police tape around it. we saw this woman duck under the tape to dispose of her bag of doggie doo in the bin - the cop told her "Madam this is a crime scene"; some people are just clueless.

    The money should be donated to the farmers who lose tens of millions of dollars a year to feral cats and dogs.
