Cheapest Prepaid (SIM Only)

I am currently with iSim and very happy with their service and rates. They will cease to operate in July 2010 and I need to switch to Virgin but I would like to shop around.

Can I have some recommendations on the cheapest prepaid available? Is Just Mobile the cheapest?

It takes me 6 months to use $20.

Thanks

Savvytel is good for a cheap Sim.

Check out the comparison table on the wiki, http://www.ozbargain.com.au/wiki/cheap_mobile_plans

  • i'm with them, no expiry.
also i think u get a discount on startkit with senior card.
which means it can now take u 4eva to use $20

    • I didn't know about the senior discount. My mum has already bought the starter pack and using the sim, can she still get the senior discount? Where are the rates for seniors? Thanks.

      • It wasn't a senior card discount, it was a pensioner discount for holders of the Pensioner Concession Card. It used to be 10% off. It was advertised at Nick's Challenge but I don't see it listed anymore.

Be aware that savvytel have recently changed their terms and conditions. If you don't recharge frequently, you will lose $1.25 of credit per quarter.

Administration and SIM fee: $19.95 (non refundable) - payable prior to the issue of a SIM to you
Account Administration Fee: $1.25 per calendar quarter (pre-paid accounts only) - waived if the account has been recharged at least once during the previous three calendar months
