sounds like a mass production chinese company masquerading as american.

    caveat emptor

sounds like a mass production chinese company masquerading as american.

Where do they claim to be American? I find their products to be really good value, well made, thoughtful packaging and prices are good.

From amazon.com where they are selling their wares, you can sorta tell from their grammar :

        18 Months Warranty
BlitzWolf offers 18-month warranty, lifetime dedicating consultancy to assure your long term enjoyment.

        BlitzWolf
Chasing the latest technology, BlitzWolf is full passions on combining useful crafts into one product, to create simple design with powerful internal.

and on their official website they are selling "qualcomm" certified stuff, thats american. Plus there is totally no trace of company except for a contact email.

Ok as I suspected, a chinese company selling knockoffs likely designed by other companies.

Maverick asked where they claimed to be American.

You responded with 'evidence' that they're not American.

So, where did they claim to be American? It was obvious from the start that they weren't. And that's not a problem.

I also don't see the problem with selling "Qualcomm certified" products, assuming they actually have the certification. They're not claiming to sell Qualcomm branded products, which is a different matter entirely. That part is a bit iffy, as they don't seem to appear on the current device list (while Tronsmart does).

        • @elusive: The certification basically means that the chargers meet and comply with Qualcomm's Quick Charge standards. Without the certification they're not allowed to say Qualcomm Certified and use any of their logos.

I'm with you - everything from Blitzwolf I've had is fantastic quality. I'd happily buy their products again.

        • I wouldnt go as far as to say 'fantastic' quality like you but I have been happy with one of their USB chargers I bought and would buy from them again

  • Rep can we have a deal for a QC 2.0/QC 3.0 Blitzwolf Wall Charger , I am sure many would be interested now as we have not had any deals on those, only the car charger ones.

Also would rather want this better model at $14.99 or better price

I'd prefer this one for camping because of it's water resistance.

    • Hi,
The BlitzWolf plugs are only EU and US,we can not post the deal for AU as the plug is different,we do not have one to match your country
You can always use international adaptar to convert to AU plug.

We'd like to post the BW-LT5 camping light deal next week.

      • Please do :)

I was reading about the LT5 today. Someone took one apart here: http://budgetlightforum.com/node/44535. It seems to use a 18650 battery, so somewhat replaceable if the original one dies.

I bought the Blitzwolf 40W charger after reading this review: http://lygte-info.dk/review/USBpower%20BlitzWolf%2040W%205%2…. Quality is great, and I'd certainly buy another Blitzwolf product. Even the packaging seems well made.

      • Will wait for the deal on BW-LT5 at $15 or below, currently $16.99 using the 15% coupon sent to email subscribers for Blitzwolf products.

        • Is it a generic coupon?

        • Is that USD or AUD? It's currently showing as $28.11 AUD.

      • It's next week!

      • Any chance of this deal

  • +1

I have a Blitzwolf and a Tronsmart USB charger and they are both identical apart from the branding. Same markings, same factory stickers. They are both good quality so can't complain. But they don't make their own stuff, just re-badge.

    • +1

I'm not too sure about Blitzwolf, but Tronsmart chargers actually appear in the Qualcomm QC device list with their own independent certifications. So even if they didn't design it themselves, it is explicitly certified under their name/branding.

Nice, have to say blitzwolf make some of the best made in china stuff.

  • ahh if this was solar then would be brilliant to whack a few on the gutters to light up the outside more

    • shows $12.99 for me…..

      • same

        • Hah! Showing up as $13.88 now. Seller must've seen a spike in traffic for this item. :-)

I am here because the thumbnail product image looked like a fleshlight.

Read the description… then exits slowly… averting eyes and whistling quietly…
