Hiya all,
I work for a school and we have always had trouble with microphones in our hall, as they are pretty average quality and you basically need to eat it to pick up everything you want, which of course bombs letters like 'p'.
There might be some money to fix this issue in the budget this year. I need to find some proper, decent quality podium mics. From what little I've read, I think I need a type called 'condenser' on the long flexible stand (30cm) called a 'gooseneck'. It needs to be wireless if possible.
Is anyone an expert in these sorts and could suggest a product? Or point me in the direction of a manufacturer or shop?

Where are you based? It might be best to go to your local music store and see what they have.
