    Good deal!
I got the 550w Braun stick mixer from Good Guys for $50 recently, and I thought that was cheap!
I use these things constantly, eg. Blending pumpkin soup in the pot, banana milkshakes, etc.

    • Yeah I was about to buy that one as well but as it was on clearance and have been sitting on it as the closest pick up was far. It's good in that it has a two year warranty.

  • Can anyone vouch for the quality?

    • +1

Quality of this product specifically - couldn't tell you.

But Russell Hobbs products in general that I have used have been of good quality and worked well.

I have one of these and I have a Sunbeam (an older one that's all silver and cost @$99 - 2/3 years ago) I like the Sunbeam much better. It is sturdy and feels like quality every time I use it. I wanted stainless blades to crush ice and it doesn't disappoint. It's a nice unit.

The quality of Russell these days is not good. Big W sells Russell, Russell is now cheap end …
I bought this very thing from Big W for $59 last year. It is tinny compared to the Sunbeam. The operation of the stick mixer is wild, like they gave it too much power, it sprays stuff all over the place. It's noisy, gets hot and vibrates a lot. Not pleasant to use. May as well use a drill with a paint mixer attachment. The food processor bowl/attachment works about the same.

I couldn't recommend this one unless you were desperate for a stick mixer and only had $29 and were prepared to get what you pay for … which isn't much.

      • Block-quote 'The quality of Russell these days is not good. Big W sells Russell, Russell is now cheap end …''

Big W now stock Dyson as well. Does this mean (perhaps only those models) are now of the 'cheap end'? Genuine question by the way, I've been wondering for a while.

Never had a Dyson. I've always thought they seemed cheap with all those movable (easily breakable) plastic parts.

Nice find. I actually need one of these. Thanks.

EDIT: Order placed for click & collect before they run out of stock

Nah, HN is $69. But at least they have a price match guarantee.

Nah, HN is $69. But at least they have a price match guarantee.

LOL we all know how that will play out when you try and claim the price match guarantee….

"it's below our floor cost price"
"the good guys are not a competitor"
        "this is a clearance"
"we don't feel like matching the price"
"go and buy it from there"
"they don't have stock on their website"
"it's a different model to the one we have"
        "<insert made up rubbish here>"

        • Priced matched this at the Nunawading HN today even though GG ran out of stock yesterday.
There's nothing to suggest that its a clearance item at The Good Guys, but it's a clearance item at HN, all the more reason for HN to price match.

        • @NoPandasHere:
Thanks! I'll be going to Nuna.

can anyone please tell how many attachments it comes with?

    • +4

The picture speaks for itself - I suggest you scroll back to the top of this page. It's called 3 in 1 for a reason.

  • Thanks OP! Looks to be available at those types of stores that price match as well!

Was going to look at this on the Russell Hobbs web site to get some more information on it, but there web site is down. Hope they fix soon.

    Colour Control 3 in 1 Stick Mixer - 20220AU

  • Thanks OP.

Had an older version of this - bought in 2004. Worked very well on the rare occasion we did use it. Switches / buttons recently broke and needed a new one. This is a good price.

  • Hi im thinking to buy it for my mom. And she needs to mix the meat and stuffs. Will that be able to do it? Thanks

    • +9

If your Mom is in America she will need a voltage converter and power adapter. But if your Mum is in Australia it should work well.

Maybe your MUM needs to introduce some brain food into your diet but it could be too late.
