International flight ticket cost trends?

Hello,

Just wondering if there is a site which keeps track of ticket prices to international destinations, along with the travel dates?
We are planning to head to Manila in Dec 2016, which is peak from what I can see.

Keen to see if we should be booking flights now, or holding off.

Thanks,

Do a search on Skyscanner.com. There is a button you can click on the LHS of the page to get price alerts. They'll send you an email when your flight price drops.

  • Google Flights allows 6 months scanning. Hipmunk a 90 day window.

  • I've been doing the same for Dec trip to Malaysia and Singapore too and my suggestion is to BOOK NOW! From what I've seen the last 4 weeks of monitoring, prices continue to go up and up for for this peak period. That said, our trip is smack bang in the middle of xmas and new year, so if yours is early Dec then maybe you can wait a while longer to see if flights get cheaper. I would still book now though if I were you.

Use the following to see fares for full service airlines

    https://www.hipmunk.com/

Use Skyscanner or Kayak you want to see across all airlines including the budget ones. These are also useful if you want an itinerary based on multiple airlines.

    some good info here too:
