Ambient music isnt for everyone its relaxing backround music or even music to sleep to, but it's free so give it a shot!

If you like this and want to try more I recommend Gas - Pop, the best ambient album imo.

Enjoy!

edit: some more ambient albums if anyone wants to try - http://zimina.net/ambient.jpg
I just love ambient music, there are many ambient albums with subtle to extreme differences, im just very passionate about music!

The download size is 251mb… Very slow download speed for me…

    • Took about a minute for me, to my phone. U mad? 😀

      • Oh ok, just mentioned it to see if anyone else having same problem!

        • Just ~65kBps here on ye olde telephone wires.

          Edit:
          Dropped to 25kB/s now

        • Actually, I figured that downloading on my phone was dumb after it was all done, so I did it again on my Surface (with AC wireless). It took about 10 times longer than my phone :/

All up around 10 minutes. Very weird download speeds

  • Thank you.

    • Thanks. Used this link, no form filling needed at all, got a download link button and file started downloading immediately. 6.50MB/s. No speed issues with server here.

  • Thanks OP!

  • listening to it now… and it's nice… but a lot of it would be too intense for my sleep.

    • Try SleepResearch_Facility - Deep Frieze
Made with no percussion specifically for sleep.

I like to put up bright lights in my room with a great big GO TO SLEEP message spelled out on them. That and playing a loop of a corporal screaming at me to sleep immediately before he shoots me.

About 20 years ago I used to have a limited edition of "Everything Is Wrong" which came with a bonus album of ambient mixes entitled 'Underwater".
It was one of the first CDs I bought, but before that I had loads of 'Ambient Dance' and 'Ambient Techno' as it was known back then including Future Sound of London, Aphex Twin ("SAW II"), Sven Vath ("The Harlequin and the Ballet Dancer"), as the most memorable examples.
Later I really enjoyed Boards of Canada, Cinematic Orchestra, and Lemon Jelly for my chillout moments.

Underwater got a fair old listen back then so I'm looking forward to hearing this.
