Company Not Fulfilling Promotion Deal

Hi all,

A rather large electronics company was having a deal towards the end of last year, where the deal was 'If you buy X product, we will send you a gift card for $X amount'.

So I went out and bought the electronic device, sent in my details to claim the gift card and they approved the claim. Maximum delivery period they gave was 10 weeks, it now has been 12 weeks.

I've sent two emails to their promotions email address with no reply, phone calls went unanswered.

Can I do anything else?

  • Fair trading is a good place to lodge a complaint.

    • Thanks for the help, I always try to resolve issues in a gentleman manner without going to big brother for help. But if push comes to shove..
